At its meeting in Helsinki, the IOF Council approved the application for membership from the KOMOAA – the national sports federation governing, promoting and organising mountaineering, sport climbing and orienteering events in Cyprus.
According to the Rules of SEEOWG this means that Cyprus is now eleventh full member of South East European Orienteering working group, and Michael Savvides inform us that they will officially take part at the first SEEOC (South East European Orienteering Championships) in Macedonia, 7th till 11 th September 2011.
