Fast progress within South East Europe

Fast orienteering development and progress in 12 countries within South East Orienteering working group (SEEOWG), should be continued in 2012 as well, according to the plans. During these days all members received Calender of major orienteering activities (events, meetings, development seminars, training camps etc).
Next year will start with expanding event calender which include a lot of WRE races in the region, and  with our most important events: second South East European Orienteering Championships and first South East European Masters Orienteering Championships which will be held in Turkey, Bursa, 5/9 September 2012.
During 9th SEEOWG meeting which will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Banja Luka, 2/4 March 2012, among other issues, will be elected new members of SEEOWG for the next coming period 2012-2016.
SEEOC and SEEMOC will be organise in 2013 in Romania, and  2014 in Serbia.
For the first time in 2012 SKI orienteering is also included in plans with a projection that this orienteering discipline become regular in  new countries such as Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia, as well as in some other countries where not yet existed such as Turkey, Serbia, Croatia etc. Development SKI training camp will be organise in February 2012 in Bulgaria.
We are very proud that two latest IOF members coming from our region (Montenegro and Cyprus), and one more is  step beyond, and we do hope in 2012 will become new member as well - Bosnia and Herzegovina.
